To protect the fabric from direct contact with the foam, a Dacron polyester batting should be added to any foam surface. This reduces the friction and wear on the fabric. Additionally, the batting helps fill in any slackness in the upholstery, resulting in a better-looking, more polished finish.

When receiving your foam package, it is important to open it immediately. Do not let the foam sit unopened for more than a week. To open the package, use a ball-point pen or pencil to make a small incision and then gently break it open. Avoid using a box cutter, as it may damage the foam.

Our foam is designed to last 7 to 10 years with proper care. When unpacking, allow at least 2 days for the foam to breathe and recover its original size and form.

When unpacking your foam, please use caution and avoid using a box cutter or anything sharp to open the shipping box, as you may cut through and tear the foam. Instead, gently remove the foam from the box and allow it to relax.
